In 2014 the Korean drama with the same name, Angel Eyes. It stars Lee sang yoon & Ku Hye sun. She is blind & is operated. Eye transplant surgery restores her vision. The new star award was won by Kang Ha neul. He played the 18 year old. his enthusiasm is addictive. If I had never seen him I would still like his presence in this show! Why did they have different actors is a mystery ? With the makeup they could have made them look older.
‘Sunayana’ is a Hindi film made in 1979. Much before any of the above mentioned. Rameshwari is the blind girl. She is helped by Naseer who gets in jail for the unscrupulous means he used. He comes out of jail only to find her getting married to someone else.
I love to connect the dots & see what came first & if any idea was lifted. The progress of the film & TV industry is very interesting.
