Encounter

Park Jin joo, his office colleague is in a few frames. But I hope she is visible later. Her performance in ‘Her private life’ & again in “It’s okay to not be okay” with the manager, Kim Joo hun there & Bo gum’s best friend here is something we will not forget in a hurry.

After facing up or meeting the rumours head on, Kim is on a roll. He gets to show off his gallery below the highway & some quality time with Ms Cha. In the lunch time she stops at a signal & finds him sitting alone in a cafe, sighing. She messages him & gets a nod from Mr Nam. He is exited that she is having a smile these days.

The secretary Jang Mi jin gets drunk & has a hard day. She goes to the joint run by Bo gum’s friend to get her walet. He has hung it up from his counter. He did not want it to fall in the soup. She finds Ms Cha & Bo gum coming in together. All have a meal together. Bo gum’s younger brother comes in. He now knows he is the “ramyeon boy’.

He has recently been discharges from his compulsory military training & working with Kim Joo hun who goes by the name of Lee Dae chan as a part-timer. His mother had asked him about the shoes in Bo gum’s room but he thinks they are for her or maybe not. Both smile at that ‘Maybe not’.

Ms Cha returns to find her mother waiting for her. She turns back & drives till her car is without fuel. She asks for help & then decides to go & watch the paintings again. On a hunch, Bo gum also rides a bike to the same place & they meet.

He has been going over all the conversations & getting worried. ‘Where will we meet next time..’ is the theme. Now that they have met, he asks her to accept the word ‘we’ & that they mean something to each other. As he holds her arm, she allows it. Earlier , when they were watching the paintings together, she had objected to his placing his hand on her shoulder.

The comfort level seems to have been achieved. Not being in a relationship & always holding in has made her suspicious of everything & everyone around her. Her husband had tried to say plainly that she is his ideal type but not knowing how a boy & girl talk, she is unable to reciprocate his feelings. Plus their mothers together make it worse. The feeling that she has been sold off is something that weighs heavy on her mind.

Her expressionless face & working tirelessly should have made her mother realise it. But no. Her father seems to feel for her but does very little towards her wellbeing.
