Encounter

After knowing about Ms Cha’s birthday, Kim Jin hyuk goes & buys a present for his office colleague along with hers. She never celebrates her birthday in the office. In the evening, he is waiting for the bus. She passes him. She is contemplating on stopping when her car gets hit from behind.

Mr Kim comes to her help. She is unhurt but shaken. He takes the wheel & gives her the present. She refuses & starts the car, dropping him. But has a rethink & stops. Asks for her present & drives away.

Her secretary Ms Jang is surprised at her getting a lipstick. She asks her to keep away from him. She says if he had been in her league there was no problem.

I also felt for her husband who drives all the way to Sokdu to gift her earlier. He also sees them both when he is in the parking. He tries to advice his mother to let her be. The scandal to make her feel small is just not right.

Her secretary also scolds Mr Nam for driving Mr Kim to Sokdu. He has also made himself unavailable for both of them to have some time alone. She senses that Ms Cha is smiling more & almost her usual self when they were in school.

Why should life be so complicated? What have we done? In the search for a better life, we have made it more complex! I again remember ‘Bade acche lagte hain’ where Mr Kapoor has so many remotes & his servant asks ‘Which Tea?’ it has too many options. If options make it difficult to decide, something is wrong!

It makes her pity her. She can’t do or be with someone to uphold her image, always. How pathetic!
