Romance is a bonus book

Ms Go gets the wind of Dani being overqualified. Her friend also gives her proof. She talks to Mr Cha & wants her contract terminated. Mr Cha stocks the fridge with orange juices before Da ni can. He is also in the conference room & puts all the brown boxes on the table. She is supposed to gift wrap them.

Giving her menial work is below her standards but she understands & appreciates that she is given a job & also likes working among the books. Will a man think in the same way? Only a mother has to sacrifice??

Eun ho who is five years her junior & motivated by her in childhood, started reading because of her has moved in life to the position of Chief Editor & she is yet finding her feet! In spite of the sincerity & smartness, she has to accept a position much lower than what she deserves.

Ms Song goes for a drink with Mr Seo. Gets herself drunk. Also drinks cucumber juice, she is allergic to. Mr Cha is called over. She is sleeping in the bedroom & both the gents take up the space in the hall. Mr Cha doesn’t want to leave her alone with Mr Seo.

Next day she has red spots on her face. Everyone knows they will disappear by evening. She has a clear idea about Mr Cha & Dani having feelings for each other. She also knows now that stay together.

They go on their first date. A fancy restaurant by the Nam mountains. ‘Romantic table’ offers the solace & good food. Later they go for the movies. Freely expressing their feelings by holding hands & sharing popcorns. The awkwardness is gone & they feel comfortable with each other.

This gradual progression is very cute. Why they failed in the first episode is beyond me. If I had left after the first episode, which I actually did!, a good drama would have been missed. Without the shouting matches or the chases, good scripts can rise above the mundane.
