Finished the series which should have been completed at least 8 days ago. But I know why people liked it. The story has expected turns but it has the ability to hold our attention. It has all the elements in the requisite amount.
The court scenes don’t linger & the verdict doesn’t even surprise. Yet it is good. Chris Wu feeling awkward & giving Hua Chi lotus was a nice touch. She is happy but doesn’t get overwhelmed. Next, she asks for roses.
The past is revealed in the last two episodes. There was no need. As expected he doesn’t boil over his mother’s decision of separating them six years ago. So much happens he needs time to react, I suppose.
All’s well that ends well. He is a lawyer. So is ‘Vincenzo’ & ‘Lawless Lawyer’ all revolve around the courtroom. Again, ‘My one & only’ starts with the father going to jail. It ends with court scenes & in ‘My father is strange’ the daughter is a lawyer. She fights for her father.
