After the heart-to -heart talk with her husband, Pi Young is seen golfing with her mother-in-law. They meet the Seo brothers. Pi young suddenly announces her divorce. Her mother- in-law is surprised. But she says people will find out anyway.
If being alone is her choice, leaving behind her husband is her choice, why should she be scared of people? People are going to say something anyways. Did I like her! She had always tried her best & she is taking this situation, handling it her way! Nobody chooses to be at the receiving end. But sometimes it just happens in an exchange.
So many things are yet to be resolved. She has to tell her daughter in the best possible way & at the right time. Before she hears of it from her friends or someone outside. Being a teenager she may just blow up or reduce in tears but she should be in the loop.
In the restaurant, Dong mi walks over to the chairman,Moon ho but he treats her coldly. His relationship with his wife has improved & he has got himself over his crush.
Hye -ryeong suddenly suggests Sa -hyeon to go to his parents. There she asks him to fill the papers tomorrow. She is willing to divorce him. She asks for an expensive property. Her in-laws are overjoyed & wish to share the good news with Ms Song as soon as possible.
Then the three friends join on a dinner table to share their news. It is one of the best scenes I have witnessed ever. If they had been hiding something from each other till now, they come clean. Not so easy to bare your soul! Even the closest ones are outsiders, sometimes.
Pi young says ‘The perfect wife has resigned” & goes on to say she is getting a divorce. Each one has the same experience but the details are different. They are so optimistic that they also say that they may be celebrating a re-marriage in a year, who knows.
Sa hyeon goes to meet Song won & tells her about the divorce. The next day they go to shop for new furniture with the in-laws. Like a normal family the choices are made & different pieces of furniture looked at. Is it normal to be so happy? Grand child ok. But they already have them. Aren’t they being happy with the affair, just because she may deliver a boy?? or because it is the child of their son ?? haven’t they forgotten their daughter-in-law too soon??
A mi appears to be too sweet for my taste. When he made her bluff for him, she should have realised that he is not trustworthy. She wants to be in the good books. She is being nice to Pi-young & Dong mi, so long that she can stay with Yu-Shin.
Pi-young gives Dong mi a ride to her house. Dong mi plans to stay with Dr Shin to take care of him. From the moment A mi revealed that Dong mi is his first love something snapped within her & she is happy to let him go. She needed to lose control for once. Bottling up your emotions never did good to anybody. Once in a while there needs to be an outburst. She should have slapped A mi then & there. Let her know she is not a pushover.
A mi is there with bag & baggage at Yu shin’s when Dong mi enters. A full blown soap opera ensues with both trying to stretch the boundaries. Pi-young has given her permission so she feels now Yu shin is hers. But we are not aware of what he really feels. I thought he looked a little lost with the two women vying for his attention.
Hye ryeong makes breakfast & her husband is amazed. She is now ready to go to the court. Inspite of her sharp tongue or her secret that something is wrong with her uterus & so she cannot conceive, it’s sad to watch her humble. Naturally your heart goes out to her.
Si-eun is cutting vegetables with her daughter, when she asks the mother if her father’s marriage has failed. They were to get married after the Lunar new year. There is no news yet. Her mother knows that they cannot be together because of her husband’s pride.
He is trying to get to someone but fails. It is probably Ga bin. She is seated in the green room & crying copiously. Someone enters carrying a bouquet.It is Dong-ma. The man from her past. The one she has not been able to get over yet!
