A 2021 series of Hindi short stories. The trailer doesn’t shed light on it..right. But surprisingly the stories are good. without dragging they finish when they should. Short, sweet, serene,…so small stories that make a surprise viewing. No, I wouldn’t say they are mushy.
…finding romantic connection in unexpected places… true. But the journey has just begun. I expect more in the next season. Some of the dialogues are really good. The script writers are good.
The costumes, cinematography good. Without being bold, brash or breaking free of the stereotypes a lot is achieved. Without expecting much I got to view good depictions.
Save the Da(y)te… is located in Goa. The beaches come in the end. The venue of the destination wedding when the bride gets cold feet. The friend is her saving grace & the manager or arranger who gets entangled.
It throws light on a long friendship of years now turning into a commitment. It is a new take on the situation without shying away from the absurd. The mother hogging the limelight by saying , ‘Mein ne hi bachon ke saath surprise plan kiya tha!’ now there.
After a long time I got to see something that surprised me. Yes, it is good.
