Good news is this episode had the highest viewership ever & the bad news is the next episode is going to be aired in August. As it is , to wait for the friends for a week is tough! I expected Dr Ik jun’s sister’s surgery. But they took up the other peripheral stories to finish the episode. The suspense remains.
It’s the month of March & the fresh batch of interns & residents join the hospital.The Cardio-thoracic dept doesn’t have any new additions. Dr Jun wan’s dept is under lot of stress presently.
Gyeo-ul asks Ik jun if she will ever head a major liver surgery. She is so prone to mistakes. He tells of the mistake made by Dr Ahn, to cheer her up. At the friend’s meeting everyone comes to know of it. It is actually made up by Ik jun. He was at fault then. The perfectionist Dr Ahn has a tough time convincing his girlfriend, Gyeo-ul.
Dr Ahn’s mother is going out with her friend for a walk. She forgets her hat. Then her phone. Instead she brings the remote. She confesses she has been forgetting a lot recently. She burnt a pot.
Dr Ahn tells Dr Jun wan that he is getting ready to propose to Gyeo-ul. Dr Jun wan asks if he can move in with him. He hates to be alone.
After his break up he is lonely. But he refuses to date anyone.Dr Song said she could set him up with someone in the hospital, to which he confesses that he is not over the woman he was in relationship with. He says this in the presence of Ik -jun, who knows but keeps a straight face.
A child named ‘Chun min’ dies & the resident with the same name dissolves in tears. Dr Jun wan is okay with it. He stresses the doctors are humans too. It is good to cry in front of the family, relatives of the patients.
The 18 year old accident victim stirs & there is hope she may wake up. The resident runs for his professor when she moves her fingers.
With all the surgeries & new patients getting admitted the doctors are very busy. They have very little for each other. Yet they sing the new song, ‘It is okay,….’
