Right from the title it is different. The male leads in K drama are dependable, handsome, cute & have fallen in love for the first time & hard. Here Song Kang is unfathomable. He likes Na bi but he is still testing her or his own feelings. That ambiguity leads to more intrigue.
Nabi wants to be closer but fears that he may not be feeling the same. So she holds herself back. But that doesn’t stop her from fantasizing. She exclaims, ‘Why him?” but it is so. He takes her out of sticky situations but may be she is reading too much in it!( so are we.)
Finally when they close the gap, she is thinking, ‘All the gates of hell have opened!’ it is ominous. What it leads to the unknown to us but we have that not so good feeling anyway.
Yoon Sol is getting to know a boy from the coffee spilling encounter. How serious do they get is yet unknown. She likes & appreciates Na bi’s place. She is helping Na bi to clean up when rest of the friends are out for another round.
Na bi comes upon a couple making out. They make her promise she won’t tell their friends. She also can see Park Jae eon with a girl. ‘It’s not only Me. Nevertheless.’ It is a riot of emotions. It is unstoppable. Regardless of the consequences it is giving in to the moment.
