Ahn Jeong won calls his friends. Treats them to juicy Strawberries & declares that he is seeing Jang Gyeo-wool. To which Lee Ik sun is quick to remark that he also sees her. To which Dr Ahn says they are dating from a month.
Lee Ik jun’s patient is drinking again. His liver transplants done twice are of no use. He talks harshly & asks the patient to switch to another doctor nearby.
Ahn Jeong won’s tiny patient is scared of removing stitches. His mother is more upset. She is sitting alone when he advises her to go join them for lunch. He assures her that he will not be leaving the hospital any time soon. Now that he has a girlfriend he will not join the church full time.
Dr Kim Jun wan has a complicated case. The heart of the patient may or may not make it. But he is successful in the surgery & the patient is going to recover fully now. As he rings up his girlfriend she is angry. She tells him that she came across a racist. His mood changes abruptly.
Dr Yang, the OB-Gyn has a female patient. She is just short of 23 weeks but she is going by the rules to maintain her pregnancy. Suddenly she goes into labour & loses her child. He is upset & doesn’t know how to console her. He sends her a message. ‘ Bad things may happen to good people’ she makes a frame of it. Later she sends him flowers & requests him to be there to protect her & her child in future.
Dr Chae Song hwa gets a complicated case of brain tumour. The patient is a well known guitarist. She gives her all to the operation, which is successful. The mother is very grateful. Owing to her petite figure she was worried about the lead doctor. She had expected someone older.
Dr Chae also wants to take over the role of ‘Daddy long pants’ which is collecting funds & helping the needy incognito. She requests Dr Ahn Jeong-won for it.
Her patient’s mother asks her if she will be interested in getting to know her son. If it was the coffee house, she dozes off & misses the appointment. But two coffees are sitting on her car’s bonnet when she comes to the parking lot.
Giving space to each character in every episode to keep the story interesting is the highlight of the show.
