Nevertheless

When I read about the lead immediately decided to watch it. Han So-hee from ‘The World of the Married’ & Song Kang from ‘Love Alarm’ you don’t want to miss this pair. It opens with her walking to an exhibition in snow. Her boyfriend has made a sculpture & named it “Na-bi” that’s her name here. She is shocked. Next she breaks up with him.

Then enters the enigmatic young man who is on a blind date & mistakes her for “So-ri’ which she is not. But cancels his date to hang out with her. He is handsome, smiling, friendly & ready to help. They meet in a bar with the darts, is it the one in “Another Miss Oh” , maybe.

Nonetheless the meet remains with both. She discovers he is her junior at the art school & wanted to have a drink with her. Her friend Oh Bit na had told her about it.

The whole atmosphere is sombre & the music is different from the other shows. It feels a bit down or is it being more real.. I wonder. He is casual about his friends. He doesn’t care about love. He is ever smiling but that hides his true feelings for sure. Then doesn’t he really care about anybody. Is this chance meeting also just one of the happenings & nothing else??

He looks charming, smiling or could be an axe murderer ( Am I being too old fashioned?? ) or having a dubious past. Is he here for a reason?? other than what is obvious…

He says he doesn’t have a girlfriend. Yet he is shown talking to someone on his cell. Into the first episode & it is all very mysterious, indeed. Only 10 episodes, so the mystery will be solved in time. ‘There is no such thing as fate. Nevertheless….’
