After finishing the first episode I had no doubt about why people liked it so much. But the reviews went on with Yoo Yeon seok & Shin Hyun -bin scenes being mushy. They aren’t. They are just going from what they had left in the last episode.
Focussing more on their conversation, he comes up with really good advice. His tone, face reflect it honestly. Yeon woo’s mother is visiting & Shin hyun bin is feeling the pressure. Did she do something wrong?? Yoo Yeon seok assures her that the visits will reduce but isn’t this the only place where people know that she is the mother of the little boy. The boy is no more so the world has forgotten. But she is yet to overcome it.
When she wants to talk about it she comes to the hospital. You make an effort & take her to have a coffee together. She will appreciate the gesture. Wow!
These little nuggets make the show rise above the rest. Why is she visiting often , is she collecting evidence to sue us ? All kinds of doubts have been floated & when the Doctor lends us his insight, it feels we have forgotten to care for people. We judge them & have only negative thoughts to begin with!
The final scene when Dr Chae Song hwa rejects of idea of getting together with Dr Lee Ik -jun, I was quite disappointed. They look good together. It may throw up new possibilities but it was sad. They compliment each other, they have known each other for ages now. His son would have a caring mother. Inspite of all the pluses it is a no no. Well, it may be a beginning of something better.
