Osaka’s daughter

It is a myth that once you become a star the rest follows. It does not. In the world, you have to prove yourself again & again &… After reading about Osaka I felt as if my own daughter is fatigued & unable to move forward!

Don’t we handle our children with velveteen gloves, then why are we harsh with other children? If she says the media is too much, the expectations are very high.. lets believe her !

Actually she needs to be applauded for her being so real in the fake world. She knows her limitations. She knows when to take a breather. How many of us really know ourselves?

We go on forever just because someone expects. I have a distinct memory of being in the first five in school. I could never imagine how it must have felt being a say.. 50th or 150th!

Suddenly a nobody in college was a shock but then I learnt to be in the background. If someone like me, a somewhat topper from a small school felt at a loss in the huge crowd of college, imagine a teenager coming to court & mikes, flash bulbs in your face & every word uttered lapped up by the media!

I feel sorry for all those Miss Indias or Miss Worlds who have to comment on what change they would bring to the world? Really?? Giants in politics for years have done very little & a 18 year old is going on for world peace & such..!

Imagine your daughter in place of Naomi & then say if she is right or wrong. It is very easy to criticise but to face so many just because you are a sensation is wrong! She deserves our full support & nothing else. Not these brick backs!
