A love so beautiful

I finished watching the drama with the special episode. The last episode was good. From his point of view it explained how he developed feelings. She had been forthright but he had been rude to her.

I liked the Chinese drama better than the Korean version. Normally my first preference is Korean. But not here.

The Manga on which ‘Boys over Flowers’ is based has the main, uncut storyline. But the Korean version with Min ho is the best! I have watched the Chinese version, ‘Meteor Garden’ with its different versions with really good actors but it is a shadow of the Korean. It is better but the Korean version is the best. After watching 100+ shows my opinion remains the same.

The innocence in the Chinese version with the lead actress, Shen Yue , makes it worth watching. She is also in “Meteor Garden’ & in “Use me for my Talent” the last two episodes yet to be aired.

She makes us believe in her choices, hurt, friendship, just everything. She is the artist who writes or illustrates her book, ‘A love so beautiful’. Her struggle begins with her confession. It ends with his confession.

Through all the ups & downs she remains loyal to her first love. The winning part comes then as a culmination of realisation & hard persuasion. Again we also lose hope as he leaves for Beijing for his studies. His struggles are within himself. He is used to her following him. When she doesn’t meet for 3 long years he is at a loss. Then he starts thinking about her & knows that he is nothing without her.
