Still in the 10th episode but I liked the character of the boy next door is written better than the Korean drama. He is sweet but his expressions do not give any hint about what he is thinking.
The swimmer, Wu Bai song is all for her. What I had expected in the Korean Show came to being. He confidently answers that she is the reason of his success. A typical sportsperson who talks first & thinks later. He very soon realises that he is going to face rejection but as much as he can do, he does all!
It is buying stuff for her. The matching ‘Tom & Jerry’ t-Shirts or any snacks she would like. Also he buys Christmas gifts for the entire group because she refuses to take the hand gloves he bought!
Money is not an issue for many but then how many are this generous to spend on friends! Later knowing that it is going to be a losing cause he is there to help. Naturally he is the best lead that she is blind to because of her fixation on her first love.
Some such characters remain with you forever. The nationals will come & go but the one he cherished will not be by his side. That is decided. We know from the first frame & yet can not accept it till the end. The match is never over till the last ball is bowled! How true.
