A 2017 Korean show with Lee Min ki & Jung So min. I had been meaning to watch it but somehow it got put off. Already into the 3rd episode I find the story easy & watching it a breeze.
The problems they face are mundane but the solution they find is hilarious. Never would it occur to you that to solve the money issue a house owner will find someone to share the rent! With clauses of cleaning & feeding the cat! Also to avoid going on blind dates, marriage is an option!
Having heard of arranged, convenience or compromised marriages this comes as a surprise. A loveless marriage with benefits!
Nam Se-hee, an IT employee, socially awkward. Lee Min ki uses his eyes to keep the expression away just like he was in “Beauty Inside” only there he was unable to see faces!
Like ‘Lovestruck in the City’ it follows three pairs. One is the lead, Lee Min ki & Jung So min & her two friends on whom she relies with her eyes shut. One, Kim Ga eun, has a steady boyfriend, Kim Min seok & the other, Esom, is yet to find one.
Kim Byeong ok as Ji ho’s father is a car centre operator. He is a typical dominating parent. Fortune teller in “Birth of a Beauty’,’Beautiful Gong Shim’,’Uncontrollably Fond’, ‘My Sassy girl’, ‘What’s wrong with Secretary Kim’ being some of his works.
Kim Sun young as Ji ho’s mother who has performed in many popular dramas. The latest being ‘Crash landing on You’ & also being awarded for the same. She is ever supportive of her child.
Noh Jong hyun as Ji ho’s brother. He is also in “Kkhonde intern’ with many other shows to his credit.
With a funny story the pace comfortable it makes the viewing easy.
