The Mandarin version of 2017 is based on the novel ‘To Our pure Little Beauty’ by Zhao Qianqian. It is more authentic. When I saw the scene where Wu Bosong takes her to the swimming pool & gives her a ride on the Pineapple balloon, it appeared more authentic. In the Korean version, there were plastic balls & decoration that could not have been done so easily.
Also the lead pair have their windows aligned just like ‘If we were a season’ with the bicycle rides which remind of the show. She could see the scholar studying. Why does the girl have to be not good with her grades?
From ‘Love in Tokyo’, ‘A love so Beautiful’ or ‘ Extraordinary You’ the girls are kind hearted but not good at studies. Here she takes up the challenge to be in the first 15 & manages to be 13th.
Switching to another school is the same. Her friend falling for the Doctor Li is same. The drama instead of ‘Romeo & Juliet ‘is “Thunderstorm’ but the audio goof up is the same. But I have to reach the 10th episode to compare more.
