Bring it on Ghost

As Kim Hyun ji recovers from her coma, it becomes clear that she was not the ghost but the soul & she is living! Our worry for the partner for Park Bong pal is over.

Seo Hyun jin as the sales girl at the counter where Bong pal gets a necklace for Kim hyun ji is just for that shot. She lights up the screen with her smile.

As Hyun min, the actor Jin Yi han has a couple of episodes with his back story. But he is unmistakable as Taltal in ‘Empress Ki’. Here he can pass for a Sunil Sharma or Sunil Kapoor with his look!

Woo hyun as a ghost has a short role .Lee Jeon eun has a shorter role. She comes up when the monk is putting the garbage away. In the final episode he compliments her. She glows but says I am out of his league!

Finally the chase for the ghosts takes a back seat & Bong pal’s story gets competed. I remember the other Bong fondly. Hay, Bong Bong! Who can forget her? Our strong Woman indeed!!

The capture of the veterinary Professor Joo & the admission of Hyun ji in the univ as a freshman is a given. Both again start chasing Ghosts to help the good ones. It ends tamely. It did not need more ghosts but twist or turn would have helped.

The expectation set by the first few episodes is not competed. Does it become a regular Kdrama… May be. The ferris wheel, The Seoul tower, the drinking, college classes, the “Sundae club” the duo are hilarious. The monk’s activities bring in drama but it fails to set it apart.
