It should have ended around the 20th episode but the next three make it complete. With the 22nd we know how it is going to end. Yet the 23rd is all about Heon & how he has taken his relationship for granted.
When he is in the states slogging away he becomes more aware of how he is used to have her around. Finishing his internship he finds she has established herself as a writer & is much more confident. She has overcome her difficulties without his help.
Woo Dae seong is around. Heon knows he is interested in Shin Sol-i. Now if he happens to be slow he is going to miss the opportunity. At their friend’s wedding he has seen Woo has a diamond ring ready. The making up is too fast & the proposal too cliche but the drama needed to ward off some misunderstandings & mopping going on. So it’s okay.
It has flashes of the break up from ‘Reply 1994’ where the doctor boyfriend is too busy or the bicycle sequences from ‘If we were a season’ very similar. The ride along the woody road is also very common. The other couple resolves the differences quickly & get married but remain true friends till the end.
