Ballroom dancing & latin find a way in a Hindi film. The effort is superb. I really enjoyed it. The politics, the number game, the rigged results are what we have seen in number of other movies. All the actors have done an excellent job.
Sooraj is a street dancer harbouring a wound of the past. His love was lost during a stage performance. Therapy has helped him but the mind games in a major tournament is something he has to overcome.
He has evolved as an actor after his debut. The dances are something to look forward to. Beautiful people gyrating to win! I enjoyed the film. Constantly reminded me of ‘Dance with me’ 1998 film with Vanessa Williams & Chayanne. Unforgettable. Also Mithunda’s ‘Dance Dance’ a 1987 Hindi film with Mandakini, Smita Patil, Shakti Kapoor which had tested the brother-sister bond along with dance! Ultimate dancing star then was Mithunda, none other!
