Two episodes are wasted unnecessarily. Okay, they break up but life goes on. The missing & tears was uncalled for. Later they get together as quickly. As if nothing had happened. They could have sorted it out by talking with each other. The final episodes again gear up & finally they decide to go public with their relationship. The final scene shows them at the party for her successful comeback show, Love Hurts.
Yes, the end is very heartening. But the two other couples don’t have such a conclusive closure. But then the sub plots are merely to divert our attention & work only as fillers!
Kim Soo-jin as the successful writer has a brief yet nice role. “The Doctors’,’Legend of the blue sea’,’Suspicious Partner’, ‘School 2017’, ‘Prison Playbook’, ‘Familiar Wife’, ‘One Spring night’, ‘My holo love’,’Hospital Playlist’ ( Is she going to be there in season 2? I don’t know yet.) & the latest ‘Navillera’ as Deok chul’s daughter. These are the shows I have seen. Her body of work is huge.
I was wondering if Song Kang had made his appearance & I missed it. No, in the 14th episode he is the delivery man & Ms Dan falls for him, as expected. Although briefly.
The pace made it easy & the lead pair holds the attention but I couldn’t failbut compare it with ‘Goblin’. Was it because I had seen them for the first time? But as Grim reaaper & Sunny they are unforgettable, for sure.
