I am not yet used to this word, have to look it up to get my spelling right! Yesterday’s episode was as expected & again I had to look up to see if there are 16, but only 12 & I had to believe that it is the penultimate I am watching.

After Deok chul comes home, he is okay but the family members are all shaken. They have a meeting & decide how to deal with his illness. The grand daughter says , Let’s ask him, why are we making a decision? She is touched that he had given her the car as a gift in spite of his failing health.

She goes over to Chae rok & thanks him. Also is sorry for asking him to take care of her grandfather when he had been doing it always.

In the mornings Deok chul regularly jogs & tries to remember what he did yesterday. Also mentally gives himself points for doing well. His motivation propels Ho bum to practice & give his loved sport a try.

Deok chul hears of Sung san in a difficult situation & although he is marking the days left for audition, he steps out without his phone. Chae rok & Sung gwan, Deok chul’s second son have no idea where he is. Given the past experiences they don’t know what to do or answer Mr Ki’s query.

Deok chul gives his son a glove & says,” You are the Pitcher & I am the fielder. I will catch every ball for you.” His son is in a fix but the words give him courage. He decides to go after what he really likes. His boss gets a shock when he declares that he is calling it quits.

Deok chul gives his performance & also selected in the Gala event! Immediately he informs his wife. Navillera the Gala … invitations are given out for the family members. Deok chul refuses to accept Chae rok’s card saying he will need it. Chae rok goes & invites his father. Giving the card he says, ‘Come for me. But if you are busy it’s okay,’ then suddenly, “Please come.” His words speak volumes. The pauses are perfect.

Chae rok is sitting with Deok chul in the changing room, when he says,’ I will remember you, remember that.’ A reluctant teacher saying it to his age old student says it all. Chae rok had thought his teacher will take on Deok chul but by giving him the chance his teacher did a huge favour to him & himself.

Mr Ki asks Chae rok to dance with Deok chul because they are used to each other. He observes that Deok chul is awkward with the other young dancers in the studio. Only the pair are compatible because they have each other’s back.

Mr Ki acknowledges that he had been thinking of himself & never cared if others suffered. His ex-wife has been with him throughout his rough times. On hearing his words she realises he has matured, she says so. Their relationship is one to look for, supportive, subtle & sublime.
