In Haryana the youngest Sarpanch has been fighting for the rights of women. He became the youngest sarpanch in 2010 in Bibipur ( Note the name of the place, so apt ). His daughter was born in 2012. The nurse wouldn’t accept money because a daughter had been born which set into action so many events.
He went & inquired about the births in the oher hospital. He studied the birth ratio & noted that it is less for girls. He started the ‘lado movement ‘ for all the girls. Savitri bai Phule could not have realised her dream if Jyotiba wasn’t there to back her. Karve was moved by the plight of the widows & he started the movement of widow marriages by marrying a widow himself.

Hats off to all those who made it. C V Raman was not ready to admit Kamala Sohoni to his class but her efforts won him over. Her contribution stands high to this age. He admired her grit & was in awe of his student all his life.
The DNA structure wouldn’t be possible without the contribution of Caroline. But not name nor fame your work is recognised, that is enough. Some men are just not good enough. Giving the surname of the father is the norm, but the child develops with the mother that nobody can deny!
