Sandali Sinha is remembered for her role. She is the fresh & youthful face here with her role having the right amount of pathos. She looks that lovely, hurt & adoring bride who has lost her husband & now caring for another who was responsible for the death. I am reminded of “Kinara ‘ where Hema Malini still grieving for her partner, Dharmendra is unable to return the love extended by Jeetendra. He is in the car accident in the opening sequence when Dharmendra gets injured & dies.
Jeetendra with Hema malini in “Khusboo” is one of the softest film ever. Beautiful songs & lyrics. Who else but Gulzar! Given a chance Jeetendra could have been one of the best actors in the Hindi film industry. He later got lost in the big grossers with the song & dance with Sridevi & Jaya prada.
‘Tum Bin’ has a fresh cast & a story that doesn’t drag. Locales are beautiful & songs are good. What more do we need !
