A 2021 film brings us the romantic Lotte going through life with her pretty sister. She is wearing the wedding dress & running on street with no shoes. She sits on a bench & tells her story to the stranger beside her.
Her marriage is called off. Her fiance, Alex calls it off on camera with live audience.Her sister gets engaged to Lotte’s boss, John. Then Lotte gets close to Chris working on a project, Just say yes. But she is not sure. Again Alex proposes to her.
I was remained of the 2008 film, 27 Dresses. Katherine Heigi’s character is well written. The story has a punch which I found lacking here. Alhough tearful, her story feels superficial. The actors have tried their best but it is not enough.
