The show ends on a high note with each of the six students of the Kirin Art School making or creating a niche of their own. Most of the characters involved also settle in life. Bae Suzy’s little sister has also been admitted to the same school.
I was thinking of the second lead if the country pumpkin remains on the side line. But till the last episode Bae Suzy herself remains undecided & suddenly parts with both of them. Each one reaches a height that they wouldn’t by staying together. What is their status at present? That is left to us!
Of course that is also okay. Handling the twists & turns some predictable & some not so, it tells a good story. What I wondered is how could they emote so well. Ten years ago all of them were so raw & yet they have managed to bring the characters to life. If teens then liked them they are good even today.
Kim Soo hyun fetched so many awards he must have made a new cupboard for them. That trend goes on today. His every show is special. Go over the last scene when he goes away, he is crying copiously & it feels like he wouldn’t see her again! ( He meets her in his next show, ‘My love from the star’ & they really look like old friends! That cameo in the park is memorable. Making his friend jealous.)
I regretted that Bae Yong joon doesn’t appear again to appreciate all of his students who have made it big! His eye for talent is phenomenal.
Lee Byung joon as the principal & Ahn Gil-Gang are the evergreen characters that blend so well in the narrative without overwhelming or overshadowing any body. I have been watching out for them & they are fabulous!
A good show that leaves you with only good memories.
