Kkhondae Intern

The show ends with both the boss & his former intern trying to find jobs again. Somehow I have never liked such endings. The closure needs to be complete. If he is offered the post of the CEO then he should prove himself. He is a co-CEO to the chairman’s son then he can guide the young chap.

Am I talking of compromise? Maybe. All things bright & beautiful don’t make way to you. If we believe that 99% of things happening today are not going to be according to your wish, then why brush off those 1% happening as you imagined?

Park Hae-jin has a presence that he is easily remembered . His other shows like, My love from the star or Doctor Stranger (Now, on my list) have him looking good. He manages to look younger here but needed more punch.

Park Ah-in has a smaller role. She looks so much like Park Min Young sometimes that remained me of watching Ms Young’s show again. The final episode that had her broadcasting her ME too moments was the best. She had our full attention & sympathies.

Park Ki-woong as the young president is too irritating. He goes after the intern the whole time but forgets his promise when he gets the chair. He is ‘Bridal Mask’, Rookie Historian & other films. He is fit for the role.

No Jong hyun is the fresh intern along with two others. He was nominated for his role in this show. He is the love interest of the temporary staff Ms Tak,ie Park Ah in.

Kim Sun Young generally plays the humble, poor, pure woman but here she is rich & very ambitious. She wants to take over the company. Her other shows like ‘When the Camellia blooms’, Vagabond, Crash landing on you for which she has the best supporting actress award. But I like her most for her role in “Reply 1988” for which she had been nominated. She also won the best supporting actress award for this show.

The show had a good showing at the awards ceremony but falls short of winning hearts. It could have been shorter & brisk in the pace.
