After finishing all of the 16 episodes I wondering why they came up with interesting points in the final episode! They could have put in one or two in between & made it more interesting.
Instead of going for the second season as they propose they could have made the first one sweet, swift & snappier. The three couples needed time for us to understand their minds, with their children. Not to mention the parents who made them what they are today!
Sung Hoon as the lawyer has the beautiful wife who is an year older. She is a control freak. Loves her husband & wishes to mould him like she wishes. His parents are anxious & wish for a grandchild. There is a reference of an older brother & his wife but they are not around.
Lee Ga -young, is the radio show host, married to the lawyer. Unaware that she is pushing him away & he is falling for a woman years his senior. She gets pregnant & wants this child & nothing else.
Lee Tae gon, a psychiatrist, has the most complex character. He is still smitten by his step mother. His mother had cared for his elder brother only. Both die in an accident. Now his father is no more & his caring for his mother is taking it too far. He has a 12 year daughter & yet he falls for a 28 year old woman sitting next to him in the plane.
Park Joo mi is the producer of the radio show. She still has a grudge against her mother. Her father cheated his wife so she divorced him. But the daughter feels that her mother came between her & her father.
Jeon Soo-kyung is the writer of the show. She has been married for 30 years & has two children. She has injured her wrists by typing forever. She has gifted a car to her husband for his birthday by the money she saved.
Jeon No min, her husband is the head of the dept of theatre. She had helped to pay for his tuitions abroad. He falls for a musical actress who joins his dept. She wants to care for him on a rebound.
Moon Sung ho is an engineer of the show. His younger, handsome brother dumped Nam Ga bin who is yet to recover from the shock. She falls for the quiet, calm, mature professor, who is ready to leave his family for her.
Yoon Seohyun is the dean of Chinese Medicine hospital. He is trusted for his medicine. The professor, Jeon No-min’s twin brother was known to Yoon. In the final episode he comes across his ex-girlfriend who tells him about the daughter without mentioning her name, A Mi. She has been introduced to him by Dr Shin as his cousin!
These twists should have been there sprinkled earlier to make it interesting. The final episode did have its moments!
