A South Korean series in 2021 attempts at fantasy. The 37 year old woman trying hard to earn & get settled, meets her younger self. She realises how pathetic she has become. She was trying to be a huge squid to promote a snack when a child gets sick due to eating it. She loses her job.
She is in the hospital when she gets to meet herself! Younger version, more confident & sparkling. The choices that we make as we live along that determine our lives! ‘The road not taken’ by Robert Frost entails it in poetic way. But we cannot travel on both, although both the paths may look alluring.
Set in a comic way it should be good. But then it is too early to predict anything. Only 8 episodes have been aired so far.Choi Kang-hee is just right for the role. Her helplessness & humour gets you. Kim Young kwang is a delight to watch. If I liked him in “The secret life of my secretary’ he looks better here. Another one titled ‘On your wedding day’ with Park Bo Young, when he lets her go, was the moment to cry & shake him up!
Teaming up with Eun Moon seok as Anthony we also have a triangle of sorts. He is the very typical actor fascinated by his own looks & caring for his flops or hits.
