A 2021 TV series with a solid star cast like Pooja Bhatt, Shahana Goswami, Amruta subhash & others fails to entertain. The five women from different walks of life trying to make it big in the competitive world. It had a lot of potential but the effort is wasted.

But I would object at the portrayal of women as arm candy or only worth giving birth. When we see so many able to take care of the baby & their jobs, how can they regress? Agreed they want to bring these issues to the fore but there is a proper way & words to be used.
Pooja Bhatt has the capacity to light up the screen. From ‘Dil Hai ke Mannata Nahi’ I have been following her. I know how able she is. But instead of coming across as a storng character, she looks like she is compromising for a better tomorrow.
Amrita Subhash is a versatile actor. If ‘Shwas’ was the beginning, every film she has acted in was the very soul! Watch her in ‘Astu’ which won her awards & critical acclaim. IF bigger audience is what attracted her here, Sorry to say I don’t like her in this role. Madhur Bhandarkar’s Chandni Bar had Tabu in a sensitive portrayal.
The sets are loud. Language abusive & scenes that should have been cut to half. The story gets lost amid the chaos. A let down. I have finished the first episode with no desire to inflict myself again to the jarring tones.
