The pace is slightly sluggish but the story is unfolding slowly. Looking at Lee Do-hyun I was reminded of Paulie from “Juno” the sweet little boyfriend of Juno, who cares for her & looks so confused by her pregnancy.
Of course the adoption later & Paulie being with her in the end is different from this story but his helplessness is very same. I remember Paulie running to the hospital when Juno gives birth to their son. His expressions …Priceless! As an eighteen year old Lee Do-hyun has more on his plate. He is caring for his twins & also has feelings for his wife that he cannot show!
Kim Mi-kyung is her usual self. The scene where the three ladies bond over a drink is so cute! The grandma bringing the drinks over for the mother -daughter to patch up, but they are already talking it over & hugging each other.
The scene where both of them think that the 18 year old is falling for them! They are watching TV but their thoughts are elsewhere & the granny is confused by their reactions. The next day he is standing in front of their house when both react very sharply. He is waiting for Si-woo, his son to come out so they can walk to school together.
Ye Ji-hoon the famous basketball player falling for Jung Da jung adds to the confusion. She is clear about her feelings so the crazy Kdrama triangle is avoided.
Kim Kang-hyun as Go Deok-jin, best friend of the couple is hilarious. He is the perfect geek who falls for Ms Ok. She is adamant that she has nothing to do with one of the parents. The perfect proposal he plans is spoiled by his very enthusiastic employees. They push someone else on stage, when he is holding the ring ready to propose!
In JBC she is training to be an announcer when she gets to host the show for couples thinking of divorce. She herself being a divorcee, she is hesitant. Her children encourage her & the pilot episode is completed with soaring viewership.
She is unceremoniously replaced by an actress as the show gets the permanent status. She handles it neatly, not forgetting to mention her displeasure. Ye Ji-hoon is waiting outside to cheer her.
The episode ends with Jung Da-jung realising why her heart flutters for the 18 year old. He is her husband & that she is not crazy!
