Into the 8th episode & I am enjoying it thoroughly. Yoon Sang hyun as the husband has to cover a complex set of expressions. In “Secret Garden” as Hyun bin’s brother he had a smaller but good role. Hyun bin meets his soulmate because of his brother. As the pop-star & heart throb of Han Ji won, he is everything that Hyun bin is not! Without his airs I kept on wondering where I had seen him first!
Lee Do-hyun is a delight! He is 18, the age of his children & yet he is mature to understand what his wife is going through! In a weak moment he holds her hand. She is surprised & he covers it up by saying ‘energy transfer’. He looks up to his father getting along so well with his children. The time he spent going on his job of repairing washing machines, he is with his children & enjoying every bit of it.
His son,Ryeoun is the typical kid who loves to play basketball but refuses when his father asks to play. The actor is the same who was Han Bit, the psychiatrist’s brother who goes missing in ‘Doctor Prisoner’. He looks better here & has a bigger role.
Kim Mi kyung as the mother of the leading lady. I have absolutely given up counting how many times I have seen her! At her entry she was agitated as any mother would be to find her daughter is pregnant! Then she comes to her daughter’s house unannounced to find the 18 year old ‘son-in law’. She manages any role & makes it believable!
The coach is demanding money for letting her son be on the team & the husband rushes there but not before his wife knows his truth! Her stricken expression says it all!
