A 2020 Korean Drama that was under rated. With a fabulous start, it dips in the middle & finally in the 16th episode when they actually meet after 2 years it is a disappointment. I expected more!
They meet in a book section & freeze. When he knew she was back in Korea his reaction could have been better! She was expecting & wishing that he should cross paths, she was cool about it. Super cool. As audience we expected something more!
She decides to remain & let go the sequel in America. The final press conference was a deja vu! Too similar to not compare it with ‘Notting Hill’ a 1999 Romance with Hugh Grant & Julia Roberts. That press conference is classic! She decides to not go back to the States for ‘Thacker’! Today I can watch it from any scene or jump to any scene. Both the actors have done an excellent job !
Kim Dong wook as Jin Ha-rim in the 2007 Korean drama ‘Coffee Prince’ was too good. As the lead I kept on expecting something more. With Gong Yoo & my personal favourite Kim Jae wook it was a delight!
Moon Ga Young shows promise. ‘True Beauty’ is yet to be seen. Acting as an actress it was very natural for her. More airs had been put on by Jun Ji-hyun in ‘My love from the star’ as the true actress. No wonder she is the highest paid star in the Korean industry.
Kim Chang wan in the ‘Coffee Prince’, ‘My love from the star’, ‘It’s okay to not be okay’ is his doctor for years. He knows his patient cannot forget anything. But he is hung up on him. He cannot imagine him having feelings for another woman. How can he move on?? From the stable person that he has portrayed always ,this was different. He also comes out with a book on his patient,’The man who never forgets’ revealing his patients records.
It has a good story but the plot weakened at the end. For those in love with the cast it may not matter but in search of something new it is a let down.
