While watching the latest episodes I realised that I have got used to them & they are going to wrap up soon. The pairs are on track & their obstacles are nothing compared to some of the others.
The last scene where Im Siwan &Shin Se-kyung meet at the end of the race, all have left. But she completes that half marathon! For a translator who works into the wee hours of the morning , to get up early & run is the challenge. Initially she says yes because she probably thought he would be there, then may be he would not run but would be with his athletes.
His meeting with his father takes long & he reaches only to greet her. His not saying that he missed the race & the reason behind it shows his maturing. In the first few episodes he is so naive that is difficult to grasp. As he takes up the responsibility of his junior & going to meet agencies to hire him, is something new. He has been used to his sister coming to his rescue or taking it lightly.
Asserting himself & caring for himself is what he learns. His affection for Oh Mijoo works wonders. He told her to not teach him how to break up. Pleads to like him always. When they take care of the young girl being bullied, it brings them closer.
The final scene shows them as they are. He is in his hospital gown recovering from his injury & she is in her uniform, bruised & looking so delicate & vulnerable. This is what they are behind the age & the facade they pose.
