The film to be released on March 12, 2020 got stuck & was released on Onam. It is now on streaming on Netflix. It is a 2 hours drama detailing a journey which begins in Kerala.
The protagonist is in debt & takes up the task of going places on his Bullet with an American tourist. The sites they come across are scenic. The cinematography pictorial. He speaks very little English & she can only speak English.
The language barrier is crossed as they get their bags, passport & wallet stolen. She then gets the real taste of India. Without wearing the patriotic spirit on the sleeve, it flows in naturally.
Story is simple & unfolds at an easy pace. The twists are just there but nothing sensational.
Tovino Thomas as Josemon & India Jarvis as Cathy are a delight. She is debuting in this film. Her face & manner are like any other Indian actress. Her soft features make her a kind person. Thomas is the usual South Indian actor who is a simple, kind soul, honest & lovable.
Directed by Jeo Baby it is a threat to the eyes. The story has it’s germ from many travel-stories we have seen before. Yet it makes a good viewing. It was late & we had decided to see the end part the next day. Once you start there is no stopping.
