A film about a teenager in search of her dad. A feel good film with Maisa Silva, Eduardo, Marcelo Laila & others. Does it have overtures of “Mama Mia” it does. But here she goes in search of her dad because her mother has never told her about it.
She is living in a commune. When her mother goes to India she goes Rio De Janeiro in search of her father. In her room she drops her mother’s photograph & finds Paco with her mother. She decides to visit Paco & his studio.
Once there, she comes across another photograph of her mother with Giovanne. Now she is in a fix. Which one of the two? She is living at Arthur’s.Paco is still getting used to the idea of having a daughter & his studio has no space.
Arthur has a grandson, Cadu, who is of her age & good friend of hers. He suggests her to have a DNA test.
She collects their used straws & gets the result. By then her mother arrives & all is well. Expecting the cliche end it surprises you. Not shocking but a different end that makes you smile for sure. A good movie to watch.
