When both are taken to the police station each has a cuff on the wrist. Now Ji Chang wook should have been happy. No he is more flustered. He hates to have her handcuffed.
Now her identity is about to be revealed so she tries to bluff her way saying the cameras were a gift. He had given them. The police & Park Jae won are aghast. Yet he manages to say that he is dropping the charges. The complaint had been lodged so her identity is to be proved. Her Id shows her real name!
He loses it completely & walks out of the police station! She runs behind his car. A delivery boy runs into her. She falls down. Ji chang stops his car & goes to she if she is hurt.’I don’t believe who was I in love with? Where is that shiny, sparkling girl?’ Aren’t we also wondering why it had to end so abruptly?
Angry he pulls off his ring & throws it in the water below. ‘If the marriage was a joke to you why am I wearing the ring?’ Unable to focus she goes to find the ring. Her ring is in the chain she is wearing & not on her finger! The two policeman happen to see her & wonder what she is doing at night with the waterproof gear. She finds it & rises up smiling.
In the final scene Ji Chang is wearing his raincoat & paddling in the water in search of his ring! He is not able to find it!! Naturally because it is not there anymore. When two people care for each other, why can’t they make things easier for themselves?? We know that life is not a bed of roses, so why invite more thorns in than necessary??
