I took a quiz & got a perfect score for ‘Heirs” which I must have seen months ago. A total Min ho show but the second lead syndrome too hurting. I had not seen Kim Woo bin before that. I didn’t even like his eyes & yet he leaves an impression that is intact even after ‘Uncontrollably Fond’.
The questions were generally about Park Shin hye’s mother’s disability, the year of release, how did Lee Min ho meet Kim woo bin, such that I felt they were around the show & nothing specific.
It brought memories I had forgotten. In the end when Lee Min ho thinks that now he will be friends with Woo bin again, Woo bin flatly refuses & walks away. If the relationship between Min Ho & Shin hye will remain the same after say ten years is doubtful. The reason being that they are young! It is not very convincing but lets say ok. After all the fights & following her & protecting her from LA to his school in Korea, do we need to look further?
The helplessness that Woo bin feels when he rents the entire restaurant & she doesn’t spare even a minute but keeps on working. It gets to you. A person should have decency. She knows he is never going to force her to give up Lee. The swimming pool incident is only an incident. Then he didn’t know his own emotions! His dilemma is so painful to watch. Very rarely are both the sides been given such detailed scenes.
“Boys over Flowers” or “Heirs” are still remembered for their long lasting impressions. Lee Min ho fortunate to be in the lead in both shows with the most talented, fresh faces & competent stories to boot till date.
