School…

I think this word invokes a number of known -unknown emotions. After finishing School 2017 I liked the ending, I began with School 2013. I haven’t yet finished the first episode, but I saw Jang Na ra being assigned to a class known as troublemakers. The show has a star studded cast!

Lee Jong suk, my first show to watch him. I recognised his cameo in ‘Weightlifting fairy..’ but I have never seen him act! Also I have seen him in the first episode of ‘While you were sleeping’ that also I have yet to finish. I got something better to see & it was left there.

Kim Woo bin hasn’t yet made his entry. But ,yes, I am looking forward to his work. It will be his fourth show that I will be watching. After ‘Heirs’, ‘Twenty’, ‘Uncontrollably Fond’ I look forward to his student depiction. Along with Jang Nara & Lee Jong -suk he won the best actor award for this role.

Jang Nara one of the delicate of the actresses. Very talented & versatile. From ‘You are my destiny’ I am her fan for sure. Here she has Choi Daniel as another home room teacher to look after the class. ‘The Last Empress’, ‘Oh My Baby’, ‘One more Happy ending’ & with this I am adding one more to my list.

The show in it’s introduction has the sentence, ‘School is where you are unhappy…’ why do we project the school in bad light? We want students to come & learn or creating a bad image is supposed to be great? It depends on the individual no doubt but why start with this tone?

Having recently concluded with another of the series I was shocked. I had never imagined that an introduction could be this negative! School 2015 deals with ragging, School 2017 with the wrong practices in school, they have never gone overboard. The summing up is always very precise & accurate. But of course, more yet to come as the teacher has to enter the class & find for herself.

Lee is delivering cake, being a high schooler he is doing part-time job. So his financial situation must be delicate. He is also bullied by some students. Who are they, I have no idea yet.
