Having finished with the drama ,I went through the gems hidden from you of 2019-20 & it featured there! Also another of Namkoong Min’s show ‘The hot stove League’ which is on my watch list. Most of the viewers believe that he is one of the most underrated of actors.
In his show his presence is felt but he never overshadows others. We miss him more when he is not on the screen. I mean you are watching his show but at present if there are other characters & he has no scene, his absence is glaring.
His style of touching his ear & tilting his head, closing his eyes & speaking slowly gets to you. It is there constantly in this show. In “Beautiful Gong Shim” he has only his slow smile as he listens to her.
When he is hurt by Director Lee with a knife, he is admitted to a hospital. He wakes up after his surgery to his lung which had perforation. His hair is naturally not combed or in place, he resembled Hyun Bin with his side flick! Nam’s eyes are bigger than Hyun Bin’s but face cut is similar!
The medical terms used & the lists of medicine are unending. It is well written & beautifully executed. There is every possibility of a second season. Does he like Dr Han? He helps her to find her brother, Han Bit but are those two romantically involved? What happened to his sister in Canada? Now that all is well does she come back?
