Namgoong Min in the stiller role steals the show. He lives the role of the doctor wrongly accused of misdiagnosis. He is yet to become the director of the Medical team in the prison. He has help from the inmates & the assistant doctors who know his honesty.
Director Son whom he is trying to oust is tenacious, vile evil , topnotch with connections. Kim Byung-chul in the role fits like a glove. I wonder if he smiles at home & has he seen the mirror. He is equally good in ‘The descendents of the Sun’ & in ‘Guardian: the lonely & great God’ I had seen him first in “Love in the Moonlight” & now only the fourth show but his face is unmistakable.
Kwon Nara as the psychiatrist Han So-geum in search of her brother is believable. I have seen her in ‘Suspicious Partner’ earlier but then I had my attention focused on Ji Chang Wook & Nam Ji-hyun.
Won-Young Choi as Lee Jae hoon one of the heirs to the Taegang Group is a cunning fellow. His personality has so many layers. In ‘Kill me, Heal me’ as the secretary to Ji Sung he was poised & efficient to a T. He is also the handsome father of Chan Young in ‘The Heirs’
Na i-Je has taken up a challenge where he is constantly on edge & so are we. When he tries to free a psychopath, the boy injures the lady psychiatrist & I-je is shocked. He had three years to think & plan so he won’t be defeated so soon. The plot is intricate with lots of twists & turns. Getting better & better with every episode.
