A brand new series in the offering & I grabbed it. Only two episodes are on air. But the events happen in a rush & it is delightful to see Shin Se-kyung after a break. Siwon, Korean singer & actor in the title role. He is an athlete & she is the translator. The vocations are different & so is the story.
I have seen her in ‘The bride of Habaek’ with Nam joo-hyuk,’Black Knight’ with my personal favorite actor Kim Rae-won & with Cha Eun-woo in & as ‘Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung’. I have seen her having strong roles.
Siwan is in a small role in ‘Moon embracing the sun’ & the shot in ‘Reply 1997’ the uniformed guy was good looking but Siwan would never come in mind. So I am watching his full scale drama for the first time.
He is seen with an actress & immediately rumours begin. His being a national player helps. But he denies it & she is also dating someone else . Her agent wishes to use it for publicity. The translator is getting a stint with him to talk with the foreign agents but just when they are getting to know each other they chance upon the actress.
Now he uses the reporters to announce that Oh Mi-joo is his girlfriend. This would bring in so many changes now. Denials, the family .. his family is well known. His agency, his sporting community & Ms Oh’s friend, Mary!
