He missed his chance in childhood & again when he chose a gift for Dal Mi, Do san appears in front of him! A successful investor, a driven taskmaster surprisingly gets tongue tied when he confronts Dal mi. Once he did tell her that he likes her but the response was not positive. She just stared. For a self made man like him he instantly knew what it meant.
But yesterday when he visited Do san to pick up the letter & give back the money tree, he was very determined. He wanted to end things his way. So he goes to Do san’s place even when Do san says, you keep the plant I will keep the letter! After a lot of drinking he finds that Do san has plans to feed him & is also telling his mom to prepare side dishes for Mr Han.
That is the last straw! For months considering Do san as his competitor he finally confides that Dal mi likes only him(Do san)! Also urges him to not think himself to be inferior to him. The scene in the elevator is a cherry on the cake. All three get stuck & the tension between them is palpable. but it is handled so well!
Once Do san has heard from him, he loses no time to find Dal mi. All his doubts have been cleared & he knows now what to do! Both meeting again at the sandbox & going through the chits they had hung up on the first day. “To change the misunderstanding into the reality!” he hands over his dream to her. she had been searching it. It was to decide if they will bid for the automated car along with ‘Morning’.
