In ‘My contracted husband, Oh Jak-du’ besides the husband Uee meets with another character who falls for her. Jung Sang-hoon who is the life of the show. I liked him for his accent & his straightforward ways.
Then I saw him again in ‘Lucky Romance’. It is a show for Ryu Jun -yeol but the laughter was due to Jung Sang-hoon. His energy is addictive. He is the investor & a trouble shooter in the office.
“It’s okay to not be okay” he is the motel owner. In spite of the length of his role he manages to stand apart.
The other actor is Kim Joo -hun. As Lee Sang-in in the drama ‘It’s okay to not be okay’ he excels as the publisher of Ku moon young’s children books. All of them are so scary. How the children like her & her stories is a puzzle. His energy leaves us wishing only good things happen to him.
In “Start up” he is father to Bae Suzy. A father with dreams. He is the inspiration behind the ‘Sandbox’ which gives a platform for the new, fresh talent & promotes start-ups. He meets with an accident & still meets with the investors for his idea. On his way back, in the bus he dies. But his two daughters are fighting at the ‘Sandbox’ to pitch their ideas & make a name.
Both of them are noticeable due to their presence & minor yet significant roles. More than the leads I keep searching for people I have seen before. Something that I am reminded of or a character well played.
