This film tries to explore a love story between a maid & her employer. Rohena Gera’s Mumbai set drama stars Tillotama Shome & Vivek Gomber. Geetanjali Kulkarni as her friend Lakshmi has a few but important role.
A month ago I had seen a short film, ‘Lust stories’ where the maid is Bhumi Pednekar. Her employer regularly asked her favour & then he decides on his would be wife in front of her eyes. Of course the relationship isn’t going anywhere but the raw emotions later had to be taken care of.
The end was unsettling. Indulging without thinking ahead is a no no. I remember Shiny Ahuja’s case. He was in police custody when he was reported by his maid. It resulted in a no career for him. He was happily married & had a promising career in films. After so many years his performance from his ‘Hazaaron Khwaishein aisi’ with Chitrangada Singh remains outstanding.Both debuted only KK was the established star.
He was not seen atall. Was he guilty? Found guilty?What happened to him later? No trace. How is he living today? nobody knows.
