A beautiful morning brings in new hopes, adventures & a lot more. With each coming day we find ourselves in situations new, novel & sometimes nerve wrecking. I had such an encounter today. With the light spreading its web, I got up a bit late than usual but with so many plans in my mind. I had to complete so many things before I could sit & ponder.
The tap to the garden leads to the main gate & as I approached it, I found the man who comes for car washing was also about to open the tap. I was still in a stupor & didn’t know what to say. He sensed it & said he would leave it open after he finished. A few minutes of watering everyday for the coconut tree is a must. It’s become a ritual. So much so that when it rains I have to think of what I am going to do now!
I had to attend that seminar on’ The contemporary Trends in Zoology ‘where the scholars from Uttarakhand & Kolhapur are expected. A novel experience for me. I can have them on my PC screen & also ask questions. I have been in a hurry to complete my daily chores & have time for myself before settling down in front of the computer.
Nana Gadgil gave me a chance to meet Nityananda’s dad & the wheels of change began to roll. It was a crisp morning with chores to be completed & not something that I had planned for the day. Getting a sahitya academy award for translation is my maushi’s cup of tea. My mother in trans with her ‘Durgabai Bhagwat’ or Dr Brian Weiss is what is normal for me. But yes, this is a new adventure to begin with for me!
To like a book is fine but translate ,I am not so sure but if your beliefs can push you, so be it. The beginning is fine but to maintain the tempo is going to be an uphill task. I am a very good starter but I cannot then follow it through with the same convention. I am starting something that I very much like so lets see.
The day ended with meeting Nityanand & having a chat from 4 to 7. I have a few Vds that I need to watch so I shall be brief & write my experiences later.
