Familiar Wife

Into the 15th episode & I find the grip in the initial episodes missing. The route to go back in the past is used by both but the results are not as they wished. Yes, they have decided to be together but the situation is not so amicable.

A cameo by Jo Jung suk as Kang sun woo, the celebrated chef to pose as her first love gives a spurt to the story I believe. But with only one episode why was it needed? Jang Seung-jo has a charismatic persona & you actually feel bad for him. He has sincere feelings for her but she has eyes only for her husband.

I have always liked the tales of time travel but this lost me completely. “Into the future” is one of the films which is an adventure that is made magical by the professor. In the sequels he maintains his charm.

Kang Han Na as Ji Sung’s wife has a role in the few episodes. She looks regal & when she falls for a cheat that is when we pity her the most. She sends in the divorce papers on very flimsy grounds. Fortunately she discovers the young man is after her money & confronts him. I liked her stance. She doesn’t delay action!

She is again in “Record of Youth” on the stage hosting the awards with none other than Park Bo Gum. I saw her in an upcoming drama, is it “Start-up”? She looks the same dazzling self again.

Kim Hwan spices up the atmosphere in the bank. He is the youngest member of the cast & has to gain the attention of his team member.

Park Hee-von as Ji Sung’s sister is full of life. A low key affair but her marriage is sweet & her love for her husband is unique. Be it a stall in the corner or a food truck she helps him all the way. Not only oppa’s friend but her special friend has a lot to do, but they manage it nicely.

Kim So ra is the lovely girl in the bank. She is jealous when Kwan gives her friend the special treatment. She slowly reciprocates his feelings.

Lee jeong-eun as Han Ji Min’s mother has shown shades of being a dementia patient, a feisty sales woman & the ever caring mother to her daughter! Mother in ‘When the Camellia blooms” to the protagonist.’Weightlifting Fairy..’,’My holo love’, ‘Mood of the day’ & many others she is a constant as the mother!

The cast makes it worth watching for sure.
