Around the 9th episode it is becoming a thriller. I never knew the married world has suspense & thrill that can be more than the suspense thriller with murder & investigation!
With the 6th episode I had thought it was the end. They get a divorce & start a new life but more was to come. The new family shifts to Gosan & the husband is bent on having revenge on his ex-wife. Her world is shattered, she is coping with the new life. Taking care of a sublime teenager.
Her window is broken. Then the intruder enters in & tries to scare her. The sherds of glass all over injures her. The mask helps to hide the identity but the police are involved now. So he is trying to declare that the house is unfit, insecure for his son to live! What about her safety? Because she is no longer the wife her safety is not important?
He is more irritated by her doctor friend he finds at her place. He has divorced her but she has a position at the hospital & is well respected. She is getting attention of his other male friends that is getting to him.
He meets his friend at the bar & drinks too much. He gets in a fight with him due to his comments about her. Sitting on the steps he advises his friend to steer clear of divorce because ultimately what we have is the wife. Only she is capable of tolerating us! This from a man who has divorced his wife & has a pretty, rich , new wife & a small daughter also!
In the ‘Familiar wife’ he does like to have a brand new wife who is pretty, rich & has no children. But now he wants his wife( earlier one) to not date his friend. He has feelings for both his present & ex-wife! But she is not allowed to show affection for any other man! What a hypocrite!
Acting is fine but this thought kept bothering me. Why are rules to be made by the man but not the same for his wife? She is single & wishes to mingle, why not? She is appreciated for her work, efficiency, wittiness, why not?
Then he realises her worth. He is teary because he has no children! He now cares for his former mother-in -law & knows what his wife had been trying to tell but he was busy & had no time for her then! When it was needed.
Each scene has a thought & the collection is just fab! But it is all work in progress.
