It finished as expected but with more here & there than required. The five stories had to be with each other that was not so. It started with Jang Na ra meeting her boyfriend at a hotel where he is proposing to another lady & that too one of her friends! This had all the ingredients to make it humorous, not really but atleast could have been dealt with in a light vein. The tears & then falling for the handsome doctor immediately after was too unrealistic.
Meeting the reporter Song was the main event but that golden chance was wasted. He watches her from the window & thinks she is drowning herself. She has thrown her necklace & suddenly remembers it is one of it’s kind, she is trying to retrieve it!
Song, her childhood friend confesses his feelings by the 11th episode & yet the story is dragged to the 16th. Her dilemma, inhibitions can be understood but not dragging of her feet. She is sure of her feelings but is marriage necessary to lead a happy life? This can be a debatable point! A single woman staying alone is not looked upon well by the society. It was unacceptable then & it is the same today!
Her school teacher friend wants to get married, but is involved with a 25 year old & he needs at least a year to find a job & marry her.
Upon marriage her friend decides to study further & gets admitted to a MBA course.
Her buddy in her office,’Courageous Marriages’ has breast cancer & gets operated. She rebuilds her marriage with the help of her friends, husband & her son.
I only had the satisfaction of looking at my fav stars. Such shows do tell us to appreciate the shows with class more than ever!
