Labelled as a dark comedy it has all the elements to grab your attention. It also ends on the right note. Again going for more than five people the director has succeeded in giving justice to all his character. Into the 15th episode & a catch 22 situation arises. Now this is going to be an unfinished saga, I thought. But no, luckily it gets wrapped up neatly & nicely.
The characters have the shades of grey & white. That is very much possible. Life anyway is never all black or white & the situation demands to give the verdict. The people are such that you get involved in their troubles. An unjust verdict gone wrong lands a Captain in jail. The star player trying to protect his sister injures a man. This man becomes brain dead & later dies. The court asks the player to remain in jail for his punishment.
The inmates are not so friendly & their is a constant struggle to survive. The guards are in place but how can they help every inmate & guard against their cell mates? The end piece at the finish of every episode that of shoes on the empty corridor is just apt. The sheep bleating in the earlier shows wouldn’t do any good here.
Most of the actors were familiar. The quiz was to find from which show, it added to the interest further. A well done job this. Looking forward to many more to come!
